It has been quite a journey for ISLANDER, who, in just over a year, have gone from obscurity to a band in constant radio rotation. Fueled with a combination of emotionally capturing songs and audience grabbing live shows, ISLANDER continue to lead at the forefront of their peers. The thrilling trip for this quartet began in the foothills of Greenville, S.C. with the release of their Victory Records debut Pains in 2013. Now, a lethal combination of alt-rock, punk and nu-metal that recalls the finest of bands like Refused and Deftones, ISLANDER have released their full length Violence & Destruction to critical recognition. Comprised of members Mikey Carvajal on vocals, Andrew Murphy on guitar, drummer Eric Frazier and bassist Chris Doot, ISLANDER recorded the album with producer Cameron Webb (SILVERSTEIN, ALKALINE TRIO) at Hollywood's NRG Studios. It is twelve tracks of American rock anthems spawned by individual struggle and organic affection. The result is a refreshing and unpredictable performance of cutting edge, modern-day rock with classic punk overtones fused with groove laden beats. Violence & Destruction awakens the nerves and lets life in. From the blockbuster single 'Coconut Dracula', to the outlaw collaboration of 'Criminals' with P.O.D.'s Sonny Sandoval and the fist-pumping title track, ISLANDER sonically 'demonstrate that fragile dichotomy between softness and weight in a riff', as described by Noisey/Vice. Alternative Press confirmed that ISLANDER was one the '100 Bands You Need To Know' as 2014 continues to shine with festival confirmations at Aftershock in Sacramento and Louder Than Life in Louisville. Darik Santos was featured on this year's season of Americas Got Talent on NBC, and made it to the quarter finals to perform at Radio City Music Hall. He lives in Connecticut, and has been performing his own brand of stand-up "comedy" for a little over three years. One-liners and an awkward personality make up this enigma wrapped in a conundrum. Darik has performed all over the east coast including Massachusetts, Maine, Connecticut and New Hampshire. He's never won any contests or awards and probably never will, but his jokes are hugs for your ears and that is a magical award within itself! Neil Godfrey and Pete Murray have been writing music together for almost 20 years in Southern California. While they began their musical journeys in heavy, rock based projects, glimpses of the majestic electro melodic sound that is Life on Planet 9 can be heard in some of their earliest records. Life on Planet 9 was introduced to the world in 2011 with it’s debut release “Bittersweet.” Featuring a more acoustic/electronic sound, Murray admits the record was born out of a “need to find a home for several acoustic, down tempo songs we had in the archives that didn’t fit in with the other projects we had going on at the time. I feel like with this second album, we’ve really embraced what this is.” Surely this second record represents the duo’s Sistine Chapel to date. Massive walls of gushing guitar melodies are intertwined with equally massive vocal beds – all rooted in thumping electronic beats and atmospherics. Godfrey describes this record as “more about creating the passion of the music...what makes us happy, what drives us.” “The Theory of Everything” will be available worldwide August 26, 2014 at cdbaby.com, itunes, amazon and most other electronic outlets. Ohio quartet Phillip Fox Band will soon be their debut full length album Heartland (produced by Joe Viers) on September 2nd, they have truly carved out their own sound that is best described as ‘Country-Fried Rock N’ Roll’ From the tenacity of “I Ain’t Angry” and “Nothin’ Worse Than Weak” to the down-home feeling of “Heartland”, Phillip Fox Band have crafted an album that is full of hope, loss, love and the truth. In early 2013, the band began pre-production for what would become their debut full length album Heartland. The band completed the album in January and launched a Kickstarter campaign raising over $18,000 to release the new record. 2014 will see the band playing over 200 dates including headlining slots at Ohio Bike Week and larger festivals such as Buckle Up featuring Alabama, Willy Nelson, Jamey Johnson, Old Crow Medicine Show, Cadillac Three, and more. “Heartland has sort of a double-meaning. The Motor City Blood EP was about where I came from, my roots in Detroit. This record is more about where we call home now, and that’s Ohio. For a long time Ohio’s slogan was ‘The Heart of it All’ and in a small way we wanted to pay tribute to that. But in a grander sense, I’ve traveled to four continents and there are just places that feel welcoming to certain folks and places that don’t. I’ve found that if I get too far away from open fields, trees, and a little soil in the air, I start getting antsy, a little claustrophobic. It didn’t matter if it was in Japan, Spain, or New York state. Heartland is about finding places wherever we are that speak to us and feel like home.” For more information, visit www.phillipfoxband.com

From Birmingham, AL, Lynam is a band that has no limits. With the attitude of Sid Vicious and the pure energy of early Guns N Roses, the four members that make up the band Lynam have a take no prisoners approach to their music. "We all got turned on to music early on." says front man Jacob Bunton. "We really latched on to the larger than life spectacle of 80s rock bands. All of the old videos and concerts look like one big party. Everyone is having a good time and the music is about having fun. These days it seams like bands are whining about how hard it was growing up in suburbia instead of giving their fans a great show." Lynam consists of Jacob Bunton (lead vocals, guitar), David Lynam (drums, vocals), Lonny Paul (guitar, vocals), and Mark Dzier (Bass, Vocals). Lynam released 3 albums independently from 2002 - 2004 (White Trash Superstar, Bling! Bling!, and Life In Reverse). In 2005, Lynam signed a deal with DRT/Universal Records and released the critically acclaimed album Slave To The Machine in 2006. This album peaked at #21 on Billboard's Top Independent Albums chart and #19 on the Heat- seekers chart. The first single ‘Tanis’ went to #1 on both the active rock independent and main-stream rock independent charts. The band’s album Tragic City Symphony (Megaforce/Mascot Records) featured the radio singles ‘Save My Soul’, ‘Lindsay Says’, and ‘ Star’. All three singles reached the top 10 on the active rock independent chart with ‘Save My Soul’ reaching top 5 with over 10 million in audience. Several of the album’s songs also were used in motion pictures, MTV, VH1, HBO, and video games. A Live album entitled Thank You Goodnight! was released November 2010 through Island Def Jam/New Ocean Media. Be sure to pick up a copy of their new EP 'Halfway To Hell!' A Life Outside, directed by Catherine Brabec, is the story of the relationships of six New Jersey surfers: Greg Mesanko, Chris Mesanko, Kevin Casey, Jim Purpuri, Richard Luthringer, and Bucky Walters, who got on a surfboard for the first time close to 50 years ago and haven’t stopped their pursuit of surf to this day. As the surf boom took hold in the 60's, Casino Pier was not only one of the best surf spots on the east coast, it was also one of the most competitive and closely guarded by the locals. The Pier has been an icon for decades and is now all but destroyed by Hurricane Sandy. This is the story of these surfers and the Pier- then and now. Surfing the Pier was a privilege earned, a territory fiercely protected. You didn’t just own a board and paddle out, you had to be invited and then show quickly that you were good enough to be allowed in. So while surfing was a connection, friendships were complicated by the fierce competition in the water. Out of the water, surf shops were the gathering spot, the clubhouse, and Grog’s Surf Palace in Seaside Park was the mecca of the east coast. His shop created an intersection of surfers from around the world as surf culture and industry began to build. A Life Outside weaves their stories along side the lives of the NJ men, exposing that regardless of fame or monetary rewards - at the core is the same unrestrained passion and single focus to surf. Today, close to 50 years later, all these guys are still surfing. In October 2012, we filmed a surf trip in Baja MX with the NJ crew. Corky Carroll, Mike Doyal and Mickey Munoz joined us for an amazing week. Then, just 3 weeks after returning home to NJ, Hurricane Sandy hit. Towns, homes, and the Casino Pier were destroyed. The lives of our NJ crew forever changed. To preview the trailer, visit https://vimeo.com/84900247

What series of events unites a few strangers to make music together? Is it a cosmic anomaly or destiny? Jandre Nadal, John Feliciano, Edgar Ramos and JuanMa Font gravitated towards each other because of a shared desire to create intoxicating and sublime music. Since 2009 this intricate sonic workshop has yielded blistering tracks with great depth, melding dreamlike sounds with unheard-of guitar strength, tight bass, high-energy drums and powerful melodic vocals. The upcoming album follows the 2011 EP, 'The Envelope,' which, along with lead single, "Universal You," drew praise from established artists such as Godsmack and Halestorm while receiving weekly spins at SiriusXM Octane, MusicChoice and more. The track was also featured in the motion picture, The Witness (El Testigo). Following the release of 'The Envelope,' Message To Venus made the decision to relocate from San Juan to Miami, Fla. "Puerto Rico is beautiful...it's our home," explained guitarist, John Feliciano. "We play there as often as we can, but in order to expand globally we want to be planted on soil where touring opportunities are more frequent." After being nominated for a Latin Rock Award in the 'Slam Alternativo/Rock' category in 2012, as well as participation in the International Day of Non-Violence, Message To Venus successfully employed the help of fans through a crowdfunding campaign and toured the U.S. in 2013. The quartet is now seeking its dedicated fans' help again to bring their upcoming album, Victims & Villains to the masses. Stay tuned to the campaign page at: https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/help-message-to-venus-release-their-new-album-victims-villains. For more information, visit www.messagetovenus.com

BOBAFLEX is known as one of the hardest working bands in the country. Renowned for their high energy, live shows and relentless touring the band was formed in 1998 by brothers Shaun and Marty McCoy. The interest of the feud has spurred of late a mini-series, many documentaries and an upcoming modern day version series debuting this Fall. BOBAFLEX released their 6th album CHARLATAN’S WEB on BFX RECORDS on September 10th. The long anticipated follow up to 2011’s HELL IN MY HEART that featured the singles BURY ME WITH MY GUNS ON, CHEMICAL VALLEY and THE SOUND OF SILENCE. Charming Liars are a British/American rock band, based in Los Angeles, California. Originally founded by lead vocalist, Charlie Cosser, guitarist, Karnig Manoukian, and bassist, Mike Kruger, in London, England. For the Londoners that are now the nucleus of Charming Liars, the move from London to Los Angeles has paid dividends in ways even the most prescient or optimistic person could have imagined. The band landed a recording contract, earned a chance to work alongside two of the most influential producers of the past quarter century – John Fields and Canada’s Bob Rock, and more recently, a slot on the Fourth-Annual Rockstar Energy Uproar Festival tour, playing alongside some of the biggest alternative rock acts on the planet. In October 2013, Charming Liars released a four- song EP called New Disorder (available now on iTunes), which is a powerful and compelling teaser for the debut Charming Liars full-length album. On an initial 5 day trip to LA, the band played showcase gigs at The Viper Room, The Roxy, The Troubadour and the Whiskey A Go Go, carving a reputation as a band on the ascent in the highly competitive LA music scene. Producer John Fields, whose credentials include work with The Goo Goo Dolls, The Rembrandts and former Barenaked Ladies frontman Stephen Page saw this raw potential and was the first LA music gurus to encourage the band to at least try their hand at setting up shop in southern California. Bob Rock’s name initially came up in a casual conversation but the band decided to approach the legendary Canadian producer knowing that the worst he could say was no. Rock said yes and eventually produced the majority of the songs on the Charming Liars forthcoming album. Charming Liars recently released their second E.P entitled ‘We Won’t Give Up’ featuring the first single impacting radio titled “The Desperation.” For more information, visit www.charmingliars.com
