Born and raised in the Garden State, the members of Aurin not only live, but breathe music. Growing up as part of generation Why, music was the one thing that its members ever truly understood. Music provided answers. Over years of writing and working, Aurin's musical direction has molded into an eclectic style of hard rock. Aurin has developed an approach so that they may continue, progress and modernize the nature of raw, emotional music from generations past. "Through struggle we prevail. Through Struggle we unite. You are not alone. This is our Pre-Inspired Symphony..." is something that the members of Aurin know all too well. "We all have a need to connect to one another in some way, shape, or form, even if it's simply to be acknowledged by someone else who can reassure us that we are not alone. We strive to be remembered," says guitarist Andrew Wayne. This concept of finding one another through mutual experience and thought is heavily driven into the musicianship and songwriting of Aurin. In October of 2011, Aurin entered Redemption Studios with NJ/NYC native producer, Stephan Wojtecki, to record their first, full-length, debut album, "The Pre-Inspired Symphony." The album is currently available on iTunes, Amazon, CDBaby, and can also be ordered through their official website at http://www.aurinband.com/

They say...Write what you know. That's just what 31-year-old actor Tom Bentey did when he turned writer-director for his first feature film, At the Jersey Shore. Every summer of Bentey's life was spent at the Jersey Shore in Seaside Heights, the same town where MTV's Jersey Shore hangs out. But long before those potty-mouth slackers became household names, Bentey knew there was a story to be told-a tale that focused on “the scene” but got past the clichés and underscored the dichotomy of the crazy club nightlife, followed by beautiful, calm beach days. Bentey who worked with Greg Rhem, Director of Documentary Programming for HBO, started writing the script in 2005 and, by early 2009, months before the MTV reality show gobsmacked TV viewers, his “At the Jersey Shore” was in production--a scripted film with the look and feel of a slice-of-life documentary. The film follows a New Jersey newspaper guy doing an exposé on the Shore's stereotypical, sex-drugs-alcohol-nightclub scene. In the process, he's struck by the sheer beauty of the place, discovers the meaning of friendship, and finds truelove with a real Jersey Shore, nightclub princess. The film premiered at the 2011 Sonoma California International Film Festival, winning the “Viewer's Pick” award. At the 2011 Jersey Shore Film Festival, it won “Jersey's Best Feature” and the “Audience Award.” On April 27, 2012, the film will be available on Cable Video on Demand, iTunes and Amazon. From Queens, NY in December 2011, Cartoonist and Creator, Richard Sirgiovanni, announces the launch and partnership in search of what he considers to be the next Big Thing in the music business and children’s television! Also a musician, Sirgiovanni decided to create something new by combining his two passions, which was Rock n Roll and cartooning, and created The Grimps! By night they’re 4 cool, charming, irrepressible musicians on the verge of stardom. By day, they’re hairy, scary and tiny. They lived 500 years ago, cursed by the evil Spectar because he was jealous of their music and celebrity.
So he cursed and turned them into ugly little grimps, to be banished from society for eternity. Until 500 years later their friend and wizard, Magic Alex found a temporary spell to change them back to humans, but from only sunset to sunrise. The Grimps in some way is his tribute to his hero’s in music and had fun by writing subtle references to the history of rock n roll in the stories and names given for the characters. To go a step further, Sirgiovanni hopes to have many musical pop icons and contemporary celebrities as voiceovers of the characters for the show. Some that have already shown interest are: Peter Noone, Keith Emerson, Mickey Dolenz, Todd Rudgren, and Eric Burdon. In addition to the show, Sirgiovanni intends on producing original rock n roll music to be presented to the public as The Grimps. Working with Mr. Sirgiovanni on the music is Ron Alexenburg, former President of Epic & CBS Records. He’s responsible for launching acts such as, Michael Jackson, Meatloaf, Boston and The Black Eyed Peas. The Grimps theme song called “We’re The Grimps”, was written and recorded by Ron Dante & Freddie Cannon. For more information, visit www.thegrimps.com

Since forming in 2007, the Metro-Detroit based band, Ghosts of August, is comprised of Dave Holowchak (vocals), Paul Delmotte (guitar), Steve Leemgraven (guitar), Terry Freers (Bass) and Kenny Leemgraven (drums). The band has worked tirelessly to develop and promote the idea that impacting many fans starts by giving, one fan, music so infectious that it has to be shared with others. “Our sound and songs are meant to connect with the audience on a deeper level,” states Holowchak, “but we also understand that there is a fine line between creating art-for-art’s sake and coming up with songs and material that have commercial appeal.” Ghosts of August’s massive hooks, crushing instrumentation, creative introspection and evocative lyrics are a perfect balance between art and appeal. Ghosts of August’s debut single “Disease” followed by their current hit single “Scars” has impacted active rock radio stations and has been supported by an aggressive touring schedule. There self-titled album is available for streaming and purchase as well as is accompanied by a limited edition pre-album EP. Additionally, the complete self-titled freshman album is currently available and was engineered, produced and mixed by Martin Bak at SLR Studios in Windsor, Canada. Hard Rock Band Janus experienced great success with their 2009 debut album, Red Right Return, but it was not until the release of the band’s new album, Nox Aeris, was it to be discovered how far they’ve come. That musical revelation is the self-produced, Nox Aeris, which debuted on March 27 on REALID Records (through Warner Music Group’s Independent Label Group). The first single, Stains, is already getting spins at WIIL (Chicago), KPNT (St. Louis), WBUZ (Nashville), WJJO (Madison), WWBN (Flint), KHTQ (Spokane)as well as Sirius-XM’s Octane and Hard Drive XL. Their hit single, Stains, explores what can happen when you don’t follow your heart, the marks left on your spirit when you become someone you’re not. In 2012 touring news, the band’s first round of tour dates was with Chevelle and Middle Class Rut with additional dates being announced regularly. The record’s title, which is Latin for “night air,” comes from the 14 Century, a period where a third of the European population was killed off by the plague. Then, people believed going outdoors at night would cause them to succumb to the Black Death. While writing Nox Aeris, Janus found this idea to be an apt metaphor for their own journey, preconceived notions of their own being flipped around as they became a bigger, more established band since the release of Red Right Return. Nox Aeris reveals who Janus is and what they’ve gone through. Red Right Return came out in September 2009 on REALID Records and spawned the Top 10 Active Rock hit, Eyesore. They spent months on the road touring with Chevelle, Sick Puppies, Sevendust, Pop Evil, Halestorm, Five Finger Death Punch and Alice In Chains. Janus also sold-out numerous headlining shows of their own, appeared on MTV’s “Headbangers Ball” and performed in the biggest rock festivals in the U.S. For more information, visit www.janusmusic.com
