Originally formed as a studio project in late 2008 by Lead Vocalist/Guitarist Charlie Sabin and Producer/Engineer Tarik Solgani, the two decided they liked what they were hearing from the songwriting demos enough to begin the process of recording a full blown record. Together they started going through a list of the best players in the area. At the top that list was Drummer Mike May, a friend Tarik had worked with many times in the past, calling on him each time a client was not getting what they needed out of their own and needed help finishing up their record. They sent him the demos, hoping he would like it enough to record a few tracks for them. And wouldn't you know....He did! Then there were three! Looking at each other at the end of the first session they started going through the “list” once again. Mike suggested long time friend Bassist Jeff Scott and the trio began recording, 30 something tracks to be exact, with more added all the time. At the present time, the band chooses to bring in different “guest musicians” for some of the lead guitar solos as they search for a full time member of the band. To date they have included; Artie Dillon (Carmine Appicie’s Slam), Mike Miranda (Snapp Head) & Mike Suppa (VH1’s Sober House/Mike Starr of AIC). No stranger to the music scene, Charlie has recorded for such labels as RCA, ROADRUNNER/MCA, GREENHOUSE, & VERSILES in the past and has toured nationally & internationally numerous times with several acts. A seasoned songwriter Sabin has co-written songs with the likes of Jamie Kyle (Heart/Faith Hill/Trica Yearwood), Jack Ponti (Bon Jovi/Alice Cooper) & Vic Pepe (Alice Cooper) as well as countless local & internationally known musicians and songwriters. Doing stand up comedy for over twenty years, Steve Bluestein has finally come into his own as a playwright.  His talent has been honed from years of pounding the boards in Las Vegas, Atlantic City, Reno, Tahoe and countless comedy clubs across the nation.  In the last few years his career, which had included television, feature films, cable and personal appearances has taken a new direction.  After writing for Normal Lear, he joined the sit com staff of "THIRTEEN EAST" for NBC, then went on to "TOTALLY HIDDEN VIDEO" as a segment producer for Fox TV and "THE NEW CANDID CAMERA" for Universal.  As always, Steve returns to his first love stand-up comedy as often as possible. Most recently opening for Lanie Kazan in concert and once again returning to Laughlin, Nevada to the Riverside Casino. A strong improviser, it is recommended you not sit up front if you don’t want to talk to this fast witted comedian. His stock and trade is his rapid wit and an ability to improvise on any subject at the drop of a hat.  See his show over and over again, 80% of the material will be new. "I have to do it that way", says the comedian... "otherwise I get too bored to stand on stage!"  Bored is something you won’t be, Steve is hysterical.  Be sure to pick up a copy of his book "It's So Hard To Type With A Gun In My Mouth" now available at www.amazon.com. Growing up in the Canadian Prairies in the ’90s, Jonny Hetherington was inspired and elated by the energy and realism of alternative rock bands that mixed equal doses of aggression and melody. However, he didn’t really relate to the dark, negative energy and sometimes pessimistic lyrics of many of his favorite groups. So when he and guitarist Greg Bradley formed their own band, Art of Dying, in 2004, they made a conscious effort to be as sonically dynamic as their influences, but approach their songs with a greater sense of optimism. The band’s major-label debut, Vices and Virtues, expresses their energy and vitality with a blend of urgent, blaring guitar rhythms, atmospheric and transcendent counter melodies, and vocal harmonies that complement the heaviness of the music. After going through a variety of players, Art of Dying cemented their lineup with guitarist Tavis Stanley, bassist Cale Gontier (cousin of Three Days Grace’s Adam Gontier) and drummer Jeff Brown. On first single “Die Trying” Hetherington sings: “If it takes forever, I will die trying,” reaffirming his commitment to attain happiness through his music at all costs. At the rate the band are going, Art of Dying won’t take forever to reach their goals, and they’re determined to enjoy every minute it takes to get there. Right now, the band is excited to take part in the Avalanche tour with Stone Sour, Theory of a Deadman, Skillet, and Halestorm. The tour launches March 24 in Chicago and runs through May 1 in Uncasville, CT. After that, Art of Dying plan to play other major support tours and summer festivals, as well as headline clubs. Hard Rock Band Rains is an independent artist committed to not fueling the corporate music machine (no labels and no record deals). This is a special show that was created for them to support their kickstarter (www.kickstarter.com) promo as they are currently in the process of recording their second full-length album. Kindly assist this band by donating a few dollars to help the recording of their next album as they are offering generous rewards for donating to this project. They understand that if it weren't for the fans, they could not do what they do. The band truly appreciates everyone's support! Hailing from a small town in Northern Indiana, Jeff Rains understands the meaning of hard work, struggles and life’s challenges. The talented artist is driven, serious and committed to his beautiful young family and his career. Featuring Andy Ryan on drums, Matt Hopkins on bass, and Jason Anderson on guitar, Rains commands the stage with a powerful sound and raw emotion that draws the audience in from the first phrase. People need a band to get behind and a band to believe in; they need a band that can make them proud. Nothing trendy – something real. Stories, the debut album from Rains, offers a window into the heart and soul of “The American Dream.” The expressive lyrics reveal that Jeff Rains is wise beyond his years, a keen observer of life and human behavior. New York native Jim Haggerty has been a movie fanatic ever since he was a little kid. But after finding film school tedious and woefully lacking in hands-on training, he switched majors, took a job at Sony Music and hosted a public access television show 'Jim Haggerty’s Rock N Roll Party'. But in 1999, his true passion of being a filmmaker resurfaced and he wrote his first fully realized screenplay, 'The Slasher’ where he pretty much did everything except play all the roles as he felt he could not trust anyone. Following ‘The Slasher,’ was the horror-comedy, 'I Dream of Dracula.’ Like 'The Slasher', it was a micro-budget film, but the two films are fun and have found audiences for themselves as well as some good reviews. Other films he has written and produced include his gritty crime drama ‘From The Inside,’ horror anthology ‘Grave Danger’ and his supernatural thriller ‘Witchmaster General.’ His films have featured Queen of Scream Actress Suzi Lorraine, Playboy Playmate Colleen Marie and Vic Martino from 'The Sopranos.’ Presently, Jim Haggerty is working hard on a new anthology horror film, 'When Death Calls' featuring the Queen of Scream Suzi Lorraine and Tina Krause. In 2006, two middle school students had the crazy idea of being in a band together.  However, these two young men did not want to be in a band just for the sake of saying they were in a band. Lead singer Andrew Corkery and lead guitarist Dan Holden started a band with a dream. They wanted to be rock stars, but unlike so many others around them, Andrew and Dan knew that this is what they wanted to dowith their lives. To be perfectly honest, the band that originally became Shadowplay had no talent at the start and struggled along. Fortunately, they took their criticism constructively and used it to better themselves. The two aspiring rockers needed people with just as much drive as themselves, so they picked up George Legatos on guitar in 2007 and John Sellers on bass in 2008. In just two years, their musical progression was obvious.
In 2009, the original drummer left because of personal differences. Drummer Tim Bear had been keeping an eye on Shadowplay that year, and took advantage of this moment to join the band because he knew that this was different from just a regular high school band. Once Shadowplay picked up Tim Bear, the productivity of the band was immediate. They went to the studio to record their first five songs. Constantly playing shows and connecting with people all over the Philly area, the band has begun to make their mark on the world. Fresh out of high school, it's obvious that Shadowplay is something more. They intend on staying together for the long haul. And these five awesome rockers will continue to chase their dream until it becomes a reality; unlike the thousands of other bands that either give up or don't push hard enough. Their dream is inspire people with their music, and most importantly rock until the end of time. For more information, visit www.shadowplayrockandroll.com
