Merge synthetic pop beats and passionate vocals with hard rock guitar riffs and fresh effects and you get the unique sound of Tasting Grace. Infusing the catchy sounds and appealing eye candy of pop with the melodic, mood driven force of rock, Tasting Grace is fine-tuning their own musical style for the 21st century. Fans of Evanescence, 30 Seconds to Mars and Linkin Park will notice a similar sound resonating from Tasting Grace. With a twisted combination of No Doubt and P!NK’s stage persona matched with a Madonna-like sensuality and grit, the dynamic of this group is palpable. Tasting Grace is fronted by singer/songwriter Jenna “Grace” Milano. Milano’s signature look shines through in vibrant stage attire, slinky dance moves, and a “rocker chick meets pop princess” attitude. Tasting Grace was born in 2006 when Singer Jenna Grace and guitarist Drew Leeds were placed in each other’s path. After countless auditions and hours of frustrations fate suddenly turned when current bassist, a humbled Willy Toledo entered their studio with bass in hand. It took more than a year and just when they thought it wasn’t possible to meet their expectations, fate once again, delivered them a gift. The band was playing a promotional acoustic show for Hot Topic next to the food court when unbenounced to us, Drummer and then U.S. Army Seargent, Johnny Rox, was listening to our show while grabbing a bite to eat! Jenna Milano jokingly asked the crowd if there were any drummers out there and by her surprise, Johnny raised his hand and said “I AM” with a big mouth full of food! As soon as the show was over they immediately approached Johnny Rox, hit it off within seconds and the very next day he was booked for an audition. Once again, they had hit the jackpot! Is it to good to be true? For more information, visit www.tastinggrace.com.

Digging into the musical influences of singer/keyboardist/songwriter Rich Genoval and guitarist/songwriter Mark Scandariato, the driving forces behind emerging New Jersey based Pop, Rock and Soul band Novae, one finds a unique and special musical convergence. Novae’s new six song EP Novae: One, produced by multi-platinum producer Anthony J. Resta is an amalgamation of classic - and modern - musical and songwriting elements. Songs about personal crossroads and love’s uncertainties are beautifully captured by Resta and Grammy-Nominated Engineer Karyadi Sutedja, through a plethora of vintage recording gear, with contemporary and even orchestral arrangements at Resta’s Boston-based Bopnique Studio. Growing up in urban Newark NJ, Novae frontman and singer Rich Genoval loved the silky classic sounds of Donny Hathaway, Stevie Wonder and Al Green as much as the more contemporary harmonic sounds of BoyzIIMen, and the pop/rock energy of Guns N’ Roses. After scoring several domestic accomplishments, including singing the national anthem at Madison Square Garden and Prudential Center sporting events, Genoval began searching for an extra edge to add to his material. He suddenly found himself acquainted with Mark Scandariato via bandmix.com. Guitarist Mark Scandariato is a music business veteran. As a touring and studio musician for indie and major label artists, Mark has collaborated and toured with artists such as Bob Dylan, Kenny Aronoff, The Spin Doctors, Hootie & The Blowfish, Charlie Sexton, Lisa Loeb, and many more. Rounding off their line-up with respected local musicians bassist Jim Arra and drummer Kevin Hill, Novae have been gigging frequently at NYC hotspots such as The Bitter End, as well as at familiar NJ haunts such as the Starland Ballroom. [Novae’s studio drummer for the EP was the famed British drummer Dave Mattacks (Paul McCartney, Jimmy Page, Elton John, etc.)] For more information, visit www.novaemusic.com.
