Formed in 2004, the Hard Rock Band New Theory was developed with the intent of creating a heave melodic sound.  The band consists Steven Miller (Vocals), Karl Myiow (Guitar), Tom Fitzgibbons (Drums) and Sean Murray (Bass).  Their heavy melodic sound is accomplished with Steven’s powerful and compelling vocals along with Sean’s intense bass playing and with Tom’s profound drumming to complete the intricate rhythm section while Karl’s dark, driving guitars provide the edge.  This Jersey Shore based group has a sound that has been compared to A Perfect Circle, Nickelback and Staind!  Each song is composed in such a way that it will take the listener on their own distinct journey.   New Theory is in many words...self-made!  Their hard work and determination demonstrate that they have proven they have what it takes to make it on their own terms by having a heavy new album, endless touring and a prime spot in the Battle of the Bands Competition.  New Theory has played with national touring bands such as Biohazard, GG Allen, The Murder Junkies and Flogging Molly.  Their album ‘Premonition’ succeeds in powerfully exuding their angst and criticisms of society without cynicism or regrets.  Music will be featured off of their album, ‘Third World Album,’ on the show. Dale Pantalione originates from a talented family of actors & musicians, which include most notably his uncle, Tony Davilio (Producer, Arranger and Guitarist) who won a 1980 Grammy for his work with John Lennon & many others.  Pantalione, a multi-instrumentalist, has been the main force of Liquid Eclipse since he started the band in 1995 along with Guitarist Chad Sainson and Drummer Mike Gall who were the core of the band until about 2001. Liquid Eclipse's music has been described as "eclectic,” "progressive,” "electro-acoustic" and is often compared to bands such as Pink Floyd, King Crimson, Peter Gabriel-era, Genesis, Muse and Porcupine Tree. The lyrics composed by Pantalione are often deeply personal, universal and rooted in relationships. Mostly known for his experimentation with melodies, electronic sounds, sound textures, and creating ambience with found objects, Pantalione, a prolific artist, has divided his time composing soundtrack music for several award winning indie films, directed by Emerald Productions and has produced and written songs for other bands. A well respected musician in many music circles, winning numerous award and achievements and making friends in the industry. He’s also recognized for his contributions and support of independent music and film communities. After a long break, Pantalione sprung back with a new Liquid Eclipse album in 2007 titled "The Elements.” The self-released CD sold surprisingly 2500 copies, a triumphant return with positive reviews from both fans and critics alike. The success of the album helped establish a firm new core of Liquid Eclipse fans online. It still continues to sell in large quantities. The highly anticipated forthcoming album for 2011 “A Drift” is the eighth Liquid Eclipse album and twenty third album that Dale Pantalione has released since 1992.

Unfortunately, Author Adam Mansbach's interview will be rescheduled to a new date as his plane was delayed. The show tonight featured information about Adam Mansbach as well as plugged the sponosors of the show and many exciting upcoming interviews! I will be interviewing Author Adam Mansbach about his most recent children’s book titled ‘Go the F@ck to Sleep.’ I came across this book when I heard it mentioned on The Howard Stern Show as Adam was doing an interview about it with The Howard 100 News Team. ‘Go the F@ck to Sleep’ is a bedtime book written for parents who live in the ‘real world,’ where nursery rhymes and other cute childish tactics do not always blissfully send children off to dreamland. The language used in the book is profane, affection yet radically honest as it captures the familiar and often ‘unspoken’ tribulations of putting your child down for the night. Also described as beautiful, subversive and pant-wettingly funny, this book is meant for new, old and expectant parents. It should probably not be read to your child! Adam Mansbach is a well-known published author and New Voices of Professor at Rutger’s University. Adam attended Columbia University and received a Master’s of Fine Arts in Fiction Writing. He has authored many books including ‘The End of the Jews’ (Spiegel & Grau), ‘Angry Black White Boy’ (Crown), Shackling Water’ (Doubleday, 2002) as well as a poetry collection titled ‘genius b-boy cynics getting weeded in the garden of delights’ (Subway & Elevated, 2002) and an anthology of original short stories which he co-edited with T Cooper titled ‘A Fictional History of the United States With Huge Chunks Missing’ (Akashic, 2006). Meyer Rossabi is an amazingly talented singer, composer and blues/jazz guitar player who recently released his debut full-length album titled ‘Blue is the Color!’!  This album exudes Meyer’s strong songwriting skills, exceptionally dynamic fretwork and soothing-to-the-ear soulful vocals.  His album ‘Blues is the Color’ features 9 original songs along with 2 cover songs and an exclusive bonus track ‘The Sky is Crying,’ which was recorded at The Mexicali Live in New Jersey.  It is evident throughout this album that Meyer is deeply inspired and has a true passion for the blues and jazz as his original songs cover topics ranging from changing careers (Stop Thinking), how quickly the world can transform (World Gone Crazy) and the dissolving of relationships (Gone Too Far).  As if his album already isn’t a hit, Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and Grammy Award Winning Drummer Marky Ramone, who is a true admirer of Meyer’s guitar playing, is featured on 3 of his tracks!  He is inspired and influenced by artists such as Eric Clapton, Jeff Healy, George Benson, Wes Montgomery, Johnny Winter, Les Paul, and Stevie Ray Vaughn.  Meyer incorporates the music of his predecessors, but brings it to a whole new level!  To purchase his album ‘Blues is the Color, please go to Antone Records: http://antonerecordshop.homestead.com
