Stella Lost comes from the South end of Texas of bellowing heat, as does their music and stage presence. Formed in 2012, the current lineup consists of Rudy Martinez (rhythm guitar), Mike Angel (vocals), Ram Salas (guitars/leads), Daniel Duran (drums), and Joe Morales (bass). After performing locally in South Texas, and various lineup changes, they released a mini LP named Everything Is Old Again through Pavement Entertainment in November 2015. This release was embarking on something great. It was a synopsis of a dark wave of melodic overtones with personal lyrical content that the band could embrace as their own. Through hard work and various regional dates, Stella Lost gained momentum, thus being able to create their second eight-track record, Figures. The songs have come of age since the last LP but remain fresh. Figures is the sound that today's rock has been missing, which is substance and clarity that takes the listener into various moods while still being captivated with strong hooks. Stella Lost will be on the road the rest of this year to support the new release.

Ask anyone who has ever been in a band, and they’ll tell you. Being in a band is hard. Making it work for 20 years? That is really, really hard. This has certainly been the case for Louisville, KY-based metal band FLAW. The band has seen multiple line-up changes over the years, however the core of Chris Volz (vocals) and Jason Daunt (guitar) remain as the creative driving force of poised to re-emerge on the strength of their finest set of recordings to date. FLAW’s story began with the independent release of home-grown albums American Arrogance (1996), Flaw (1998) and Drama (2000). It was the songs on these recordings that garnered the attention of Universal Republic Records, who signed the band and released the break-through Through The Eyes in 2001. The offering topped the Billboard "Heatseekers" chart, largely fueled by the singles "Payback" and "Whole." The band then followed-up with an album entitled Endangered Species via Republic in 2004, but soon thereafter the band went through personnel changes and ended their relationship with the label. The band’s tumultuous relationship with themselves, and their label, were reflected in their songs. It was the life and energy captured in these songs that propelled the band forward. It was always FLAW fans’ connection to their songs that carried the band on. FLAW’s a band that is re-emerging on the strength of renewed focus and energy, and that energy is captured on the lead single from “Divided We Fall”, a song called “Live and Breathe” that is a vessel of raw human experience and emotion. The band has waited 12 years to release a proper album, to rally and come together. They trust that together, FLAW can accomplish great things, and their fans are poised and ready to answer the call.

Dynamic French Art Rockers The Dukes were formed in 2010 by Lead Vocalist/Guitarist Francois “Shanka” Maigret – who has been a part of notable French Rockers No One Is Innocent. He is partnered with Drummer/Programmer/Vocalist Greg Jacks from the multi-platinum pop rock band Superbus, which won an MTV award, and 2 French Grammy nominations (winning in 2007 for Best Rock Album). The band has 2 previous releases: 2010’s “Resilient Lovers” EP and 2011’s “Victory” LP (both recorded by Magnus Lindberg from Cult of Luna). Their first American full length album is “Smoke Against The Beat” (produced by Jamie Candiloro - REM, Ryan Adams) which will be released by Concrete Entertainment on July 28th, 2017. The LP defines the band’s sleazy, sexy, driving sound and has established them as a successful touring act in Europe, both as headliners and as an opening act for international bands on arena tours. The stage show has machines, scenography, projected animated video clips designed by Shanka, and an original light show that creates a visual presentation reminiscent of a Stanley Kubrick film for the intense live performance of this Indie Rock duo. The Dukes are also visual artists: their personage “Smoki”, drawn with a Sharpie marker, epitomizes the DIY fury and the subversive “Art‘n’Roll” spirit that animates the group. Available in all forms including animation, stop-motion, comics and action figures, the Smoki universe is an expansion of The Dukes. The band recently signed a worldwide management agreement with Bob Chiappardi and Erik Baker of Concrete Entertainment, the sister company of legendary Concrete Marketing. They are currently recording more new material to follow up “Smoke Against The Best” with #1 rock producer Kato Khandwala (Papa Roach, Paramore, The Pretty Reckless). A tour is set to launch in late June 2017.

A Killer’s Confession, the new band led by former Mushroomhead vocalist Waylon Reavis has constructed one of the most high-octane, adrenaline fueled, gut wrenching albums of the year. The band’s debut album “Unbroken” is equal parts beauty and tragedy and takes the listener on a journey to the edge of insanity and back. New single "Rebirth" is playing on more than 40 Active Rock radio stations and was the most added first week out. “Unbroken” was produced by Reavis with Engineer/Mixer Richard Easterling (American Head Charge, Doll Skin, Emperors and Elephants) at Richmond, KY’s Third Sky Studio. The album has been released via EMP Label Group, the label founded by Megadeth bassist David Ellefson. “I am so proud of this project, and being able to come back with an absolutely KILLER record, with KILLER musicians” states Reavis. “Anyone who has been a fan of anything I have done previously, is absolutely going to be floored by AKC.” On signing to EMP Reavis had this to say. “I am so thankful to Thom Hazaert and David for believing in me and getting behind this project the way they have. I have been watching everything they’ve done the last year, and I am so proud and excited to be part of the EMP family.” Reavis was co-vocalist for MUSHROOMHEAD from 2004 to 2015, and appears on the albums Savior Sorrow (2006), Beautiful Stories for Ugly Children (2010), and The Righteous & The Butterfly (2014), as well as other projects including TENAFLY VIPER, which also featured former Chimaira bassist Jim LaMarca.

Detroit claims a long line of musical trendsetters. Perhaps there's something in the water, or maybe it's the blue collar, put-up-or-shut-up mentality, but the Motor City has served as fertile ground for musical geniuses ranging from Alice Cooper and Kid Rock to Eminem and Bob Seger. Kaleido's upcoming 2017 debut full-length album "EXPERIENCE" is straight, unadulterated, feel it in your soul rock with flourishes of pop, R&B, punk & funk undertones - and hooks for days. Named Best Band in Detroit by Real Detroit Weekly in both 2013 & 2014, plus having won two Detroit Music Awards in 2015 for "Outstanding Rock/Pop Group" and "Outstanding Rock Recording" for their second independent EP 'Unbreakable', they have since taken the show on the road, lighting up stages on the Van's Warped Tour, Rockstar Uproar Festival, Summerfest & CMJ Music Marathon and opened for Aerosmith, Slash, Kid Rock, The Offspring, Sammy Hagar, Evanescence, Halestorm, Ace Frehley of Kiss and Twenty One Pilots. Kaleido recently wrapped up their latest US tour with groundbreaking rock legends Living Colour and their first tour of the United Kingdom with Alien Ant Farm and Hed PE in October 2016. The first single released from "EXPERIENCE", titled "Love & War" (co-written and featuring Dryden Mitchell of Alien Ant Farm), won an unprecedented 27 nights on 89x The New Rock Alternative People's Choice. "Trouble In Paradise", the second single, combines hard hitting 808's, pounding live drums, a bouncy rhythm, beautifully eerie vocals, soaring melodies and harmonizing guitars with a funky reggae inspired bass line. The new single "Die Tryin" is a rock anthem to stepping up to the plate, taking your swings – and never backing down form a challenge. Kaleido is on tour with Seether in May and June, Rob Zombie in July. For more information, visit www.kaleido.com

In order to progress in life – and music – change is inevitable. The inexorable forces of change are what brought the members of Message From Sylvia (MFS) together. With former bandmates leaving to start families or moving on to other projects – change happened with a simple phone call and fate began to run its course in the Summer of 2016. That phone call, facilitated by Nashville based Artist manager Erik Baker – connected the Lopez-Smith Brothers (Dane, Isaac, and Zachary) – formerly of First Decree – with vocalist Matthew Nevitt from Echovalve & DoryDrive. That chemistry is already producing a combustible mix of explosive energy with the heavy yet melodic first single “Heart Of War”, which broke into the Top 20 @ Active Rock radio. Their second single “Right Here and Now” and upcoming album were Produced by Sahaj Ticotin (Ra). “Right Here And Now” is quickly climbing the charts @ Active Rock radio nationwide. The members of MFS have seen success with their earlier projects: Nevitt’s band DoryDrive was named “Best New Rock Band” @ the WAMI (Wisconsin Area Music Industry) awards in 2013 and their song “Here’s To You” reached the Top 40 on the Active Rock charts in 2014. The Lopez-Smith Brothers had an incredible run in 2015 with First Decree, which saw 3 of the band’s singles - “Lost In The Crowd”, “Phoenix”, and “This Is Our Rise” chart Top 15 @ Active Rock on the Under The Radar chart, and Top 30 on the BDs indicator chart. Message From Sylvia’s ultimate goal is to have their music reach as many people as possible around the world and for their music to inspire and encourage listeners. “Heart of War” was a great start and “Right Here And Now” promises to take them even further towards reaching that goal.

Formed in 2011, American Standards plays raw, chaotic hardcore sometimes referred to as "mathcore" or "noise punk". The band released its powerhouse debut album Still Life under We Are Triumphant (distributed by Victory Records) and immediately went on to share the stage with the likes of; Every Time I Die, Norma Jean, Comeback Kid, Emery and Atreyu. American Standards quickly became known for their intense live show, tongue in cheek demeanor and relentless work ethic playing over 250+ shows to date. In 2013, American Standards underwent some significant line-up changes, replacing their drummer and moving their bassist to guitar. This is when the band also decided to go back to their DIY roots by independently releasing The Death of Rhythm and Blues EP. Many viewed the change as a risky move for a highly anticipated sophomore release, however the transition proved to pay off. The album was met with positive critical acclaim and landed the band on multiple respected music festivals. In 2015, adjusting the new environment, American Standards began to partner with several international DIY labels in order to allow their international distribution to remain low cost and quickly accessible. This included Enjoyment Records in the U.K. and Nacion Libre in Mexico. It also expanded their available formats from digital and CD to include previously unreleased vinyl and cassettes. Shortly after, the band released the Hungry Hands EP which walked the line between 90s hardcore punk and early 2000s metalcore with an experimental twist. American Standards has announced a new full length album titled "Anti-Melody" with a release date of April 15th, 2017. Based on recent interviews with the band, the release will continue to build upon sociopolitical themes, corporate greed, satire and materialism, but will also have a much more personal tone.

Heavy music is alive and DED is bringing back the aggressive spirit that is authentic to the genre. "There is an honesty and a "f*ck you" about hard core music that I don't feel as often anymore" says lead singer Joe Cotela. DED is loud and aggressive - but it serves as a positive outlet: the band produces an unapologetic sound that draws from the art of fantasy and expressive screams. With the release of their second single “Anti-Everything” on Feb. 3rd, 2017 – DED is poised to impact the Hard Rock and Metal scene in a big way. DED was born in the music scene of Phoenix, Arizona and has been together for 2 years. Band members Joe Cotela (Vocals), David Ludlow (Guitar), Kyle Koelsch (Bass), and Matt Reinhard (Drums) developed a friendship and ultimately a musical partnership that mixes horror and dark imagery to develop a familiar, yet unique sound that sets them apart from other bands. They incorporate these volatile elements into their lyrics – with the hopes that it will breathe new life into the hard core genre. Their sound is meant to “be in your face and tell it like it is”, while paying homage to Korn and Pantera, who served as early inspirations. DED are also influenced by more recent bands like Slipknot and Bring Me The Horizon. The band has toured with with Beartooth, Asking Alexandria, Atreyu, Every Time I Die, Upon a Burning Body, The Acacia Strain, John 5, Powerman 5000, and Insane Clown Posse among others. Their touring helped grow awareness in the business and brought them to the attention of producer John Feldmann (Disturbed, Blink-182, Beartooth). Their collaboration with Feldmann culminated in the band signing with Jordan Schur @ Suretone Records. The band has signed with CAA for booking, and will be opening for Korn in May. They have already been booked on “Carolina Rebellion”, “Rock On The Range”, “Rocklahoma”, and Chicago Open Air Festivals.
