The band's cutting edge modern rock sound was born through serendipitous connections in the thriving Deep Ellum music scene of Dallas, an area that has given rise to iconic Hard Rock and Metal bands like Pantera, Drowning Pool, Hell Yeah, and King's X. The band grew their fan base locally, and began to branch out regionally and nationally, opening for notable bands such as Sick Puppies, Candlebox, Hinder, Vince Neil, Black Stone Cherry, Lynch Mob, Drowning Pool, Local H, Trapt, Metallica, Dokken, Scott Stapp Of Creed, Avenged Sevenfold, and Buck Cherry. It was on one of these tours that the band caught the attention of Los Angeles based writer/producer, Chad Gendason. The band felt an immediate comradery with Chad and a lasting bond was made. Messer started writing with Chad, and their first collaboration became "Simple Man". Fan favorite "Whiskey" soon followed and the songs started to flow into what would eventually become their self-titled debut album "Messer", which will be released on 4/20/18 on Maddpants Records. The album was mixed by Ben Grosse (Marilyn Manson, Breaking Benjamin, Disturbed) and mastered by Tom Baker (Papa Roach, David Bowie, Motley Crue). The band's desire for creative expression and to touch as many lives as possible is what drives them forward. 2018 is shaping up to be the year that Messer cuts through the noise and clutter of the Rock world and makes it mark. MESSER means "knife" in German, and the Dallas, Texas band expects to cut a memorable swath through the Rock world in 2018, starting with new single "Make This Life". The song is going for adds now at Active Rock radio and available everywhere for streaming and download. Their debut self-titled album will be released on April 20th!

Burdens Within was formed in 2010 when friends Ryan J. Kline (Bassist) and Mike Riley’s (Guitarist) previous bands came to an end. The duo ran into each other and decided to get together to write some music. They wanted to write songs with no barriers. Armed with one purpose: “We just wanted to make kick ass rock music” states Ryan. Burdens Within was formed! With its roots in the alternative grunge movement of the 90s and adding elements of classic rock, hard rock and metal, Burdens Within covers all the bases and has created its own unique sound. Rounding out the line up is Craig Thomas (Drummer), Ryan Alan Battering (Lead Guitarist) and Daniel R. Rivers on (Vocalist). After inking an Artist Partnership deal with Pavement Records, the band recently released their debut self-titled album featuring the hit single 'Dead End Town.'

Falling Through April's band founders (Jim Siani, Dave Piontek, Taylor Foster, Dan Candia) have weathered the full gamut of hurdles as a startup since forming in 2011, ranging from exploding transmissions and ghosting vocalists to nearby celebratory gun fire landing Taylor in the hospital. When charismatic front woman Mikaela Salazar stepped into their lives in 2016, the road blocks were removed, and everyone found something to be excited about. The band has 2 previous independent releases: The "Take Flight" album in 2012; and the "Risk and Reward" EP in 2015. In early 2017, FTA packed up and drove to Nashville, TN for a several month's long recording binge with producer and friend Jon King (Augustana, Darling Parade). The result is their new album "Zodiac", a powerful alt-rock collection that melds influences ranging from Incubus to Halsey. The band has amassed a significant touring resume, having opened for The Pretty Reckless, Pop Evil, Adelitas Way, Flyleaf and more. They have also performed at major festivals including the Vans Warped Tour, SXSW, Florida Music Festival, Sonorous Music Festival, Dewey Beach Music Conference and Celebrate Fairfax. Their touring has garnered them endorsements from PRS and Reverend Guitars, among others. FTA's goal is to have their music reach as many people as possible around the world and for their music to inspire and encourage listeners. Becoming a household name in the modern rock community drives them forward, and “Zodiac,” which will be released on January 19th, promises to help them achieve that goal. A second single and video will be released in early 2018. Follow them @fallingthroughapril

Social Void might best be described as a ‘lyrical’ alternative rock band fronted by brothers Chip Cooley (vocals, guitar) and Brent Cooley (bass, keys). Their atmospheric debut album, Propeller, chronicles a deeply personal and prolonged time of isolation, in which Chip confronts his past, present, and future, and faces the consequences of disconnecting for too long. Playing guitar from the age of four, and being raised by a vocal coach, he's been ingrained with music as a means of expressing feelings that escape mere words, and he layers his guitar as added textures and contrasting voices in each track. His brother, Brent, also singing and playing piano from an early age, has always had a natural ability to find harmony and expound upon these raw expressions. And with his inclination for maths and general knack for musical theory, he provides a technical balance and structure. Their songs are self-recorded, self-produced, and use every step of the process to serve the greater work. In former iterations of the band, they have become veterans of live performance in historic Charleston and have added Charles Holliday (drums), Elijah Kuzia (synth), and Quell Graham (guitar) for touring.Be sure to pick up a copy of their amazing album 'Propeller!'

BLACK WATER RISING (BWR) is a collection of soul baring, angst ridden, riff heavy material that is proudly anchored in the foundations of traditional hard rock song writing. Giant guitar driven monster riffs served up on a bed of crushing grooves with soaring melodic vocals and big hooks. Basically, NO FRILLS RIFF ROCK! Lyrically the message is socially and politically driven by the dark times we live in. With darkness seemingly growing by the day, BLACK WATER RISING is a name that fits this band like a glove. Their debut album released in 2010 would achieve the #1 slot on Amazon.com’s Rock Chart upon release. BWR received heavy airplay on Sirius-XM Satellite Radio's Octane channel for the singles "Brother Go On" and "No Halos." The album reached the #6 slot on the Top 20 airplay chart for the channel and "Brother Go On" also cracked the top 40 on the Media Base Active Rock Radio Chart. BWR has played shows and toured with Hellyeah, Kill Devil Hill, King's X, Monster Magnet & Ace Frehley. Their tour schedule also brought them to the 2010 South By Southwest Festival in Austin, TX performing at High Times Magazine's Doobie Awards show where BWR won the 2010 High Times Doobie Award for “Best Rock/Alternative Artist,” beating out such tough and respected competition as Staind, Eagles of Death Metal, The Mars Volta and Danko Jones. BWR followed up the critically acclaimed self-titled debut with their sophomore effort, Pissed And Driven released in 2013. The first offering from Pissed and Driven, "Show No Mercy" was #5 most added on the CMJ Loud Rock Chart, top 10 at many college radio stations and in heavy rotation at Nationally Syndicated Cable channel Music Choice reaching #1 on their Metal Chart. The band's video for "Dance With The Devil" spent 15 weeks on Noisecreep's Battle Royale Top 10 Video Countdown.

10 Years has come a long way since their inception in 1999. The band landed a deal with Universal/Republic Records on the strength of their two independent releases, 2001's Into the Half Moon and 2004's Killing All That Holds You. Their major label debut, 2005's The Autumn Effect, debuted at No. 1 on Billboard's Heatseekers Album chart thanks to their breakthrough hit, "Wasteland," which topped Billboard's Modern Rock Tracks chart, and "Through the Iris," which hit No. 20 on Billboard Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks. The band followed that success with 2008's Division, featuring co-production work from Rick Parashar (Alice In Chains, Pearl Jam). The album peaked at No. 12 on The Billboard 200 and spawned the hit "Beautiful," which reached No. 6 on the Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks. The momentum continued with 2010's Feeding the Wolves, which was produced by Howard Benson (My Chemical Romance, 3 Doors Down) and bowed at No. 17 on The Billboard 200, while the single, "Shoot It Out," peaked at No. 6 on Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks and spent 25 weeks on the chart. The group, which toured the world with such rock greats at Linkin Park, Korn, and Deftones, went back to their indie roots with 2012's Minus the Machine on their own Palehorse Records, which was part of Warner Music Label Group. The album debuted at No. 2 on the Hard Rock Albums chart, No. 8 on the Top Rock Albums chart, and No. 26 on The Billboard 200. On October 27th, the band will release their new album, "(how to live) As Ghosts," featuring the hit single "Novacaine!"

Stella Lost comes from the South end of Texas of bellowing heat, as does their music and stage presence. Formed in 2012, the current lineup consists of Rudy Martinez (rhythm guitar), Mike Angel (vocals), Ram Salas (guitars/leads), Daniel Duran (drums), and Joe Morales (bass). After performing locally in South Texas, and various lineup changes, they released a mini LP named Everything Is Old Again through Pavement Entertainment in November 2015. This release was embarking on something great. It was a synopsis of a dark wave of melodic overtones with personal lyrical content that the band could embrace as their own. Through hard work and various regional dates, Stella Lost gained momentum, thus being able to create their second eight-track record, Figures. The songs have come of age since the last LP but remain fresh. Figures is the sound that today's rock has been missing, which is substance and clarity that takes the listener into various moods while still being captivated with strong hooks. Stella Lost will be on the road the rest of this year to support the new release.

Ask anyone who has ever been in a band, and they’ll tell you. Being in a band is hard. Making it work for 20 years? That is really, really hard. This has certainly been the case for Louisville, KY-based metal band FLAW. The band has seen multiple line-up changes over the years, however the core of Chris Volz (vocals) and Jason Daunt (guitar) remain as the creative driving force of poised to re-emerge on the strength of their finest set of recordings to date. FLAW’s story began with the independent release of home-grown albums American Arrogance (1996), Flaw (1998) and Drama (2000). It was the songs on these recordings that garnered the attention of Universal Republic Records, who signed the band and released the break-through Through The Eyes in 2001. The offering topped the Billboard "Heatseekers" chart, largely fueled by the singles "Payback" and "Whole." The band then followed-up with an album entitled Endangered Species via Republic in 2004, but soon thereafter the band went through personnel changes and ended their relationship with the label. The band’s tumultuous relationship with themselves, and their label, were reflected in their songs. It was the life and energy captured in these songs that propelled the band forward. It was always FLAW fans’ connection to their songs that carried the band on. FLAW’s a band that is re-emerging on the strength of renewed focus and energy, and that energy is captured on the lead single from “Divided We Fall”, a song called “Live and Breathe” that is a vessel of raw human experience and emotion. The band has waited 12 years to release a proper album, to rally and come together. They trust that together, FLAW can accomplish great things, and their fans are poised and ready to answer the call.
